Eligibility Criteria :    
  • Educational Qualification : Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards, with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Passed two year Vocational Course affiliated/recognised by CBSE / State Education Boards/Councils duly recognised at par with 10+2 by AIU with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
  • Nationality : Indian
Selection Process : Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Interview for Group ‘Y’ (Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) and Musician) Trades, Medical Examination.
Medical Standard : General Medical Standards for Group ‘Y’ (Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) and Musician) Trades are as follows: (i) Height : Minimum height required is 152.5 cms. (ii) Chest : Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm. (iii) Weight : Proportionate to height and age. (iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable. (v) Hearing : Candidates should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately. (vi) Dental : Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points. (vii) Health :Candidates should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communic-able diseases and skin ailments. Candidates must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of world, in any climate and terrain.
